🎬 CopyCopter Studio: Private Beta Access
An invitation to the first generation of directors using CopyCopter Studio.
What is CopyCopter Studio
CopyCopter Studio is the new professional workspace:
- Multi-track video editing in the browser
- AI-assisted visual and audio generation
- Cloud rendering for delivery-quality output
Studio is built for people who think in shots, rhythm, intent — not templates.
This is not a filter app.
This is not drag-and-post.
This is a director’s environment.
Access for current members
@everyone already using CopyCopter, you are grandfathered in.
No forms. No waitlist. No upgrade fee.
Inside any existing project, you’ll see an option to Transition to Studio.
Click that button and accept the warning. Your project becomes a Studio project. You’re in.
This is beta access.
What changes in Studio
- Full timeline control
- Layer visuals, voice, music, titles, effects
- Direct AI support where you need it — not auto-generating over you
- Clean cloud render when you’re done
It stops being “a clip generator.”
It becomes the place you actually cut your work.
Why we’re doing this
Until now, CopyCopter helped people generate content fast.
Studio is about authorship, not speed for its own sake.
We’re building for people who take credit for the final frame.
Expectations in beta
This space is serious.
From you:
- Use it for real work
- Tell us what’s slow, what’s confusing, what’s in your way
- Treat bugs like notes, not drama
From us:
- Direct support in Discord
- Fast iteration on timeline, render pipeline, and brand/export controls
- Respect for the fact that this is your name on the output
What happens next
You’ll start seeing Studio assets, language, and visuals across this server.
CopyCopter is evolving into CopyCopter Studio.
We are not chasing trends.
We are building the tool for people who still care about making something that carries their name.
Welcome to Studio.
💬 An Important Announcement 💬
Effective today, we've made what we feel is a radical change to how the platform operates: We've removed all restrictions based on subscription status, and have set all accounts to cancel at the end of their current period to transition everyone to a pure credit-based platform.
Our priority is and always will be making the best damned AI video creation and editing platform out there. We want to make this accessible to everyone, and sustainable for everyone, and we feel subscription pricing is antithetical to that.
🐛 Bug Fixes
We've identified and implemented patches for a number of issues today.
- Luma Generations -- Last week, a change to Luma's API resulted in the "Dream" motion system not working. This also exposed an issue with the task management. Both issues should now be correctd, and Luma generation restored.
- Motion/Image Replacements Not Saving -- We found an issue where navigating away from the project and back could result in motion or image replacements being overwritten by the previous image or video. We've changed how our save system works which should eliminate the problem in the future.
- Watermark -- A problem with the watermark image's location was identified and adjusted to a more reliable location. Doubly fixed by the ability for all users to disable it if it interrupts exports again.
⚠️ Important Update: Render Pricing Change ⚠️
We need to let you know about a necessary change to our platform. After July 1, renders will be charged based on video length. Previously, we absorbed these costs ourselves, but this is no longer sustainable as our community has grown and we've taken steps to decrease price for everyone. We understand this represents a change from what you've come to expect, and we don't make this decision lightly. Our commitment is to keep this platform running and improving for our creative community, which requires honest pricing that reflects real costs. We're letting you know now so that you understand what to expect. We're grateful for your support as we work to build a sustainable creative platform that can serve you for years to come. Thank you for your understanding.

🚨 New Update LIVE Now! 🚨
Morning folks! Yikes! We've had a busy couple weeks here. We've been working through the backlogs of feature requests to get things implemented that matter both for users and for the direction we're heading as a platform in terms of capability.
🌱 New Features
This week we have two new features that are tested and ready to go!
-
Title Editing -- I know, finally, right? The "Delete" button for projects was moved into a menu with an "Update" option. For now, this just holds the ability to rename your project, but may hold more features in the future.
-
Tagging -- Okay, I know a lot of you really wanted folder organization, but the complexity of a useful folder organization structure is... well, frankly a pain in the neck to do well. So we've added the ability to tag your projects. There's a "Create Tag" button at the top of your projects window (next to new video) to create tags, and you can apply relevant tags to your projects. Select the tag at the top of the window to filter for only videos with that tag! (We'll add multi-tag filtering in the future)
Got Questions? Need Help? Found Something Totally Wrong?,
Don't forget you can always hit us up on <#1280951472296562728> by opening a ticket (this allows us to make sure problems get recorded and we get them scheduled for correction!).
We may not always get it right -- we're working to get a development cadence of bug fixes, improvements, and new features going at regular intervals, and that means things break and we may not always find it in QA. If you run into problems, let us know -- we'll restore credits for problems caused by the platform, and we'll help you get the results you're looking for.
